Résumé The article explores the idea of consciously shaping live-action role-playing (LARP) communities to foster positive, inclusive environments. Stark argues that LARP organizers can implement specific social engineering strategies to create healthier and more welcoming spaces. These strategies include setting clear community standards, promoting inclusivity, and actively addressing conflicts. By designing the social aspects of LARP as thoughtfully as the games themselves, organizers can cultivate communities that not only function well but also encourage player retention and satisfaction​
